Don't wait
Hey dear young friends in Christ,
Many children think they must become “perfect” before coming to God. Some feel ashamed because of mistakes, secret sins, bad habits, or wrong friendships. Others keep delaying their decision to follow Jesus seriously. But today God lovingly says: “Return to Me.”
“Return to the LORD your God,
for he is merciful and compassionate,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.”
— Joel 2:12-13
Our God is not waiting with a hammer to destroy us. He is merciful, compassionate, patient, and full of unfailing love. Even when we fail Him many times, His arms are still open. Satan says, “It’s too late.” But God says, “Come back now.”
Time is running fast for all of us. Every day we postpone obedience, our hearts slowly become harder. One day can become “someday,” and someday may never come. That is why the Bible says to trust and obey God now while we still have the chance.
Do not let anything hold you back:
not friends,
not social media influence,
not secret sin,
not pride,
not fear of what others think.
Jesus is worth more than temporary pleasures. The joy of walking with God is greater than the excitement of the world.
If you feel far away from God today, take one step back toward Him through prayer, repentance, and obedience. When a child truly returns to God, Heaven rejoices!
Remember:
God is ready to forgive faster than we are ready to ask. Return to Him today — not tomorrow.
Jesus loves you!
