Remain in Christ

Hey dear young friends in Christ,

“Then Jesus turned to the Twelve and asked, ‘Are you also going to leave?’ Simon Peter replied, ‘Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life.’” — John 6:67–68

Jesus knew that some of His followers were walking away. He knew that following Him would not always be easy.

Maybe you have also had moments when your faith became confusing.
When your prayers seemed unanswered.
When friends questioned your belief.
When the world offered you other ways to find happiness and meaning.

But Peter answered:
“Lord, to whom would we go?”

That is the heart of faith.

Dear beloved child, you don't have to understand everything before you follow Jesus.
When you are confused—stay with Jesus.
When you feel lonely—stay with Jesus.
When your friends walk away—stay with Jesus.
When life disappoints you—stay with Jesus.

There are many voices around you—social media, influencers, friends, philosophies and trends. They may tell you how to become successful or popular.

But Jesus gives something deeper:

“You have the words that give eternal life.”

So when you don't know what to do, don't ask only, “What is everyone else doing?”
Ask:
“Who can give my soul what it truly needs?”

Take a moment and quietly say:
“Jesus, I may not understand everything, but I don't want to leave You. You have the words of eternal life.”

Challenge
When you feel like drifting away from Christ, don't run from Him—run toward Him.
Because faith is not always having every answer.
Sometimes faith is simply knowing whom to hold on to when you don't have the answers.

Lord Jesus, keep me close to You when I am confused, lonely, or afraid. Help me recognize Your voice among the many voices around me. Give me the courage to say with Peter, “Lord, to whom would I go? You have the words of eternal life.” Amen.

Jesus loves you!
