WEDNESDAY WITH LORD JESUS

Grace and peace to you in the Name of Lord Jesus Christ!
Dear Bretheren in Christ,

'How lovely is your dwelling place,
O LORD of Heaven's Armies...What joy for those who can live in your house,  always singing your praises.'
— Psalm 84:1-4

The writer longed to get away from the bustling world to meet God inside his dwelling place, his holy temple.
We can meet God anywhere, at any time. But we know that going into a church building can help us step aside from the busy mainstream of life so we can quietly meditate and pray. We find joy not only in the beautiful building but also in the  worship, prayers, music, lessons, sermons, and fellowship.

Heavenly Father,
How lovely is Your dwelling place! My soul longs and yearns for Your presence. Thank You for the privilege of drawing near to You, finding refuge and joy in Your house. Bless me, Lord, as I dwell in Your presence, singing praises to Your name. Fill me with Your peace and strengthen me to walk in Your ways. In Your Holy Name we pray, Amen.
