Hey dear young friends in Christ,

'Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love.'
— 1 Corinthians 16:13–14

As we wait for the return of Jesus Christ, Paul gives us five simple instructions.

Be on guard—protect your heart, thoughts, friendships, and choices from anything that pulls you away from Christ.

Stand firm in faith—don't allow trends, peer pressure, or popular opinions to weaken your relationship with Jesus. Stand for what you believe.

Be courageous and strong—Christian courage means trusting God even when life is difficult or when you feel alone.

And finally, do everything with love. We can speak the truth, stand for what is right, and still treat everyone with kindness and respect.

Beloved children, Jesus is coming again. So don't simply wait for Him—live ready for Him!

Stay alert. Stand firm. Be strong. And let everything you do reflect the love of Jesus.
