Abide in Him
☘️Hey dear young friends in Christ,
“Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray.” — Mark 1:35
Jesus had a busy life. People were constantly seeking Him, yet He made time to be alone with His Father in prayer. He knew that prayer was the source of His strength and guidance.
As children, it’s easy to get distracted by school, friends, sports, gaming, and social media. Finding time to pray may seem difficult, but prayer is our lifeline to God. Just as our phones need charging, our hearts need daily connection with God.
Even a few quiet minutes each morning can make a difference. Before checking your messages or scrolling through social media, spend some time talking with Jesus. Share your worries, dreams, and struggles with Him. He is always listening.
The strongest children are not necessarily the most popular, talented, or successful. They are the ones who stay connected to God through prayer.
Challenge: Tomorrow morning, give God the first five minutes of your day before giving your attention to anything else.
Lord Jesus, help me make time for You every day. Teach me to step away from distractions and seek Your presence. Let prayer become a joyful habit that keeps me close to You. Amen.
Jesus loves you!
